As an author of 5 Christmas Novels, I’m aware some people start reading Christmas books as early as September and October. But for me, I can’t really get into the Holiday/Christmas spirit until Thanksgiving. The good news is…THANKSGIVING is almost here!
Speaking of Christmas novels, my newest one (and Book 2 in the Forever Home Series), Finding Riley, is out and doing very well. In 6 weeks, it’s already received 48 Amazon reviews, averaging 4.7 Stars. I’m not sure how many of you knew it was a Christmas novel. Since it’s also the sequel to Rescuing Finley, that’s how I promoted it when it first came out Oct 1st (and since I wasn’t ready for Christmas then).
Here are a few comments from the Amazon reviews:
“I think I liked this book even better than the first one in the series, Rescuing Finley.” — Margarent N
“Finding Riley is one Christmas story I couldn’t put down. Read it in a day, cover to cover.” — Cass Wessel

New Pinterest Page for Finding Riley
Some of you might know, my wife and I made a research trip last April to explore a number of locations for settings and scenes as I prepared to write Finding Riley. Last week, we took another trip to go back and collect a number of pics of places that actually made it into the book. As well as a few more pics of “Riley” himself.
We gathered some of them together for a new page on Pinterest, devoted to Finding Riley. I’m sure those of you who bought the book will enjoy it. If you haven’t got a copy yet, you can see some of the places and scenes included in the book.

Ending on a Personal Note
Just had to share this pic. Two months ago, our 3rd grandchild was born. His name is Lucas Mosier. My daughter’s been taking lots of pics of him, but this week he started to smile. I love baby pics, but I especially love it when they start to smile back.
Looking forward to seeing this smiling face at our Thanksgiving table this Thursday.
Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. We’ve been told, it might even be chilly enough here in Florida to wear a light jacket at night.
