Have some exciting News to share with you all. I’ve recently gotten the rights back to a 4-Book series I wrote with Gary Smalley back in 2013-14. For a number of reasons (I’ll share a few) these books have totally disappeared from view. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if 90% of you haven’t read them (or even knew I wrote them).
But they really are great stories. Book 1 is shown, The Dance. It was a Carol Award Finalist when it came out for “Best Contemporary Fiction.” I’m unveiling here the NEW COVER on the right. I’m almost finished updating and editing Book 1 and hope to release it under my own Imprint in a few weeks. I’ll be changing out ALL the covers. Gary and I hated the covers the publisher chose.
One of the reasons these books sold so poorly was…due to health reasons, Gary had to retire before the first book came out (he passed away in 2016). And then there were the terrible covers. And except for this first book, we hated the titles for Books 2-4. Also, they priced the eBooks first at 9.99, then at 7.99 (still way too high).
When I launch the new series, starting with The Dance, the eBooks will all be marked down to 4.99. ALL of them will be Free to Kindle Unlimited members, and I’ll make audiobooks available for each one (if you buy the Kindle, you can get the audiobook for only 1.99).
I’ve been going over The Dance with a fine-tooth comb getting it ready. I’d forgotten what a wonderful book this is. If you haven’t read it, I guarantee you’re going to love it. I actually wrote 100% of all the chapters in these books and came up with the stories. I drew from some of Gary’s bestselling family life books, and he did give some helpful advice. But if you like my other books, I’m sure you’ll enjoy these, too.
