A week or so ago, I posted about my Newest Novella — Twas The Night — saying it had just released. It’s been doing great (#1 on Amazon in Several Categories). But THAT’S NOT WHY I’M WRITING today.
You’ve likely noticed in all my communications (like the one Above), after highlighting the discounted price, I’ll say something like “FREE ON KINDLE UNLIMITED.” Or “AVAILABLE ON KU.” Some of you have written me asking what this is and if it’s something I’d recommend for them. So, I thought I’d take a moment and explain what it is, for those who don’t know, and answer the question – IS IT RIGHT FOR YOU?
For Starters, I’m not being paid a dime from Kindle Unlimited for this. But I have to say – for thousands of my readers IT’S A VERY GOOD DEAL.
Basically, you sign up on Amazon and pay $9.99/month. For this one price, you can read as many books in the program as you can. For NO ADDITIONAL PRICE. It puts a cap on your reading costs at $10/month. Now, if you only read 1 or 2 books a month, this is probably not for you. But with most Kindle books priced at $4.99 or more, every book after 2 is basically FREE.
Are there a lot of books to read on KU? YES – Millions. All of mine are (except the few my publisher still owns). Most of my Author friends now make their books available on KU. There are, literally, millions of books enrolled (and more being added everyday).
Right now, Amazon is offering 30 Days Free, then 9.99 a month after. For example, you can download this entire Box Set–Winter Deceptons– for FREE. Read it and any other books you can. Then next month they’ll start charging you $10/month. But again, that’s about the cost of 2 books. If you read even 1 a week, you’re getting 2 more free.
Some of my fans say they read 3-4 books a week. They’d make a killing on KU. Here’s the Link if you Want to Check it out further:
